It won’t make you rich but parking a domain name can produce a steady stream of revenue. The idea is that you purchase a domain that will get a lot of traffic and fill it with advertising. A common approach is to choose a name similiar to an established site that people might accidentally type, for example www.maazon.com (which is actually owned by Amazon).
